Stewart & Tate Donates to the Hope Street Garden & Learning Lab

July 31, 2013 — The Hope Street Garden and Learning Lab, once a vacant lot on West Hope Avenue in York City, has been transformed into a garden by the city’s youth and community volunteers. The lot’s transformation process began in January 2013 and it now serves as a community garden and outdoor learning lab for youth from schools all around the city. In addition to the garden, an outdoor pavilion will be built to serve as a classroom for students so they can come to learn and work outside of their traditional classrooms. Stewart & Tate is donating its services for the foundation and slab work of the pavilion. Currently, Stewart & Tate is working in York City on the second phase of renovation work at the Helen Thackston Charter School. Stewart & Tate is pleased to donate its services to the Hope Street Garden and Learning Lab initiative.
