Stewart & Tate Constructing New Research and Development Building for Carlisle Construction Materials

December 11, 2017 — Stewart & Tate Construction is currently constructing a 42,000SF Research and Development building for Carlisle Construction Materials. The building will replace their current Tech Center Building and will house Carlisle Construction Materials testing labs, support office, conference and collaboration spaces.

The building is expandable in the future with the structure designed to add a second story over the front office area. Generating a modern feel to the building, the exterior will include stone veneer accent walls, curtain wall glazing and metal panels with curved canopies. This theme will be carried into the interior finishes with stained concrete floors, octagonal ceiling clouds and linear metal ceilings. The office space will feature glazed roof monitors that allow natural light into the space.

Construction of the new Research and Development building is slated for completion in August of 2018. Carlisle Construction Materials is a worldwide manufacturer of roof membranes, roof insulation and wall vapor barrier materials which will be used as necessary on this project.
