Stewart & Tate Completes New Research and Innovation Center for Carlisle Construction Materials

May 10, 2019 —Stewart & Tate Construction recently completed a 42,000 SF Research and Innovation Center for Carlisle Construction Materials. The building replaces the current Tech Center Building and houses testing labs, support offices, and conference and collaboration spaces.

The structure was designed to add a second story over the front office area for future expansion. Stone veneer accent walls, curtain wall glazing and metal panels with curved canopies are featured on the exterior, lending a modern feel to the building. The interior finishes continue this theme with stained concrete floors, octagonal ceiling clouds and linear metal ceilings. The office space features glazed roof monitors that allow natural light into the area.

Carlisle Construction Materials is a worldwide manufacturer of roof membranes, roof insulation and wall vapor barrier materials which were used on this project.
