Stewart & Tate Completes 435,000 SF Distribution Facility in White Marsh, MD

December 17, 2015 —Stewart & Tate Construction recently completed the construction of this new, 435,490 SF warehouse for Baltimore-based developer, Chesapeake Real Estate Group.

The concrete tilt-up distribution facility is located at Baltimore Crossroads @95—a 1,000 acre mixed-use business community positioned in the White Marsh area of Baltimore County. The facility features 32’ ceiling heights, a 6” concrete floor, 64 loading docks, 4 drive-in loading bays, 221 vehicle parking spaces, and 59 trailer spaces.

Most notable about this project was the work that took place throughout the duration of a harsh winter to keep with the fast-track schedule. The entire slab of the 400,000+ SF building was poured in less than 4 weeks. In order to achieve this within a short time-frame, a concrete batch plant was built on-site and efforts coordinating to pour 700-800 cubic yards per day.

Stewart & Tate is nearing completion of a 571,000 square-foot speculative warehouse in Harford County for Chesapeake Real Estate Group. The project is being billed as the largest Class A distribution site on the market in Maryland. The Perryman Logistics Center is scheduled for completion in January.
