Stewart & Tate Awarded Rutter’s Store Project in Leola

August 25, 2015 —York-based Stewart & Tate Construction will serve as the general contractor for the construction of a new Rutter’s along RT 23 in Leola, PA.

The new convenience store will replace the old Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill building located at 370 W. Main St. Demolition of the existing 70,000-square-foot store began last week.

The project involves extensive sitework and the construction of a 7,480-square-foot facility, fuel pump island, and a separate diesel pump island with 18 spaces for tractor-trailer parking.

Construction of the new store is set for completion in December.

Rutter’s is an award winning chain of convenience stores/gas stations with 60 locations in the counties of York, Lancaster, Dauphin, Cumberland, Adams, and Franklin, all in south-central Pennsylvania.
