Stewart & Tate Awarded Carlisle Construction Materials Plant Expansion

July 31, 2013 — Stewart & Tate has been chosen to construct the expansion of the Carlisle Construction Materials facility.

The contract was awarded to Stewart & Tate Construction for the design and construction of the plant expansion with associated sitework. The work specifically includes the construction of numerous stormwater management ponds, construction of a new loop road to improve traffic flow around the plant buildings, construction of a 57,000SF manufacturing building to connect two existing buildings for the purpose of housing new TPO Roofing line equipment, a 14,000SF office addition with renovations to the existing office, and a 6,000SF office addition to Carlisle Construction Material’s adhesives manufacturing building.

Stewart & Tate will also manage the construction of a new rail siding and tank farm that will provide a means of delivery and storage of pellets used in the manufacture of TPO roofing housed in the 57,000SF plant expansion. The project’s expected completion date is May 2014.
