Stewart & Tate Announces New President of Affiliate Operation

August 27, 2013 — Stewart & Tate announced the promotion of Tyler Tate, P.E., LEED AP, as the new President of its Owings Mills, MD-based affiliate, Lewis Contractors. Tate, most recently Vice President of Administration, is a six year veteran of Lewis Contractors. A summa cum laude graduate of Lehigh University, he holds a master’s degree in civil engineering.

In his new role, Tate will provide leadership and oversight for implementing Lewis’ strategic plan. A York native, Tate has been instrumental in Lewis’ growth in recent years and will continue to uphold the company’s tradition of excellence in his role of President.

His father, Timothy Tate, P.E., will continue to serve as CEO.
