Following the successful completion of multiple construction projects—including Faulkner INFINITI of Mechanicsburg, Porsche of Mechanicsburg, Faulkner Nissan of Mechanicsburg, and Faulkner BMW of Lancaster—Stewart & Tate Construction was once again selected by the client for a complex and highly specialized project. Due to the planned expansion of nearby Interstate 83, two existing Faulkner dealerships needed to be relocated. The solution involved a creative and strategic transformation of an existing office building.
The project began with a major structural modification: a 10-foot section was cut from the center of the existing building to separate it into two distinct, stand-alone facilities—one for Faulkner Honda and the other for Faulkner Toyota.
The Scope of Work for the Toyota store included a 13,500 SF PEMB addition on the rear of the building for a new service center. Approximately 4,900 SF was added to the front of the building for a new showroom and Toyota’s portal feature. All new interior first and second floor layout and finishes were upgraded to Toyota’s finish program.
