Carlisle Construction Materials – Plant Expansion | Carlisle, PA

Stewart & Tate Construction was selected to serve as the contractor for Carlisle Construction Materials’ plant expansion and renovations at its facility in Carlisle, PA. The contract was awarded to Stewart & Tate for the design and construction of the plant expansion and associated sitework.

Work included the construction of stormwater management ponds, a new loop road to improve traffic flow around plant buildings, a 57,000 SF manufacturing building expansion to connect two existing buildings for the purpose of housing a new TPO Roofing manufacturing line, a 14,000 SF office addition with renovations to the existing office, a 6,000 SF office addition, renovation and expansion of roughly 8,700 SF of mechanical room/part storage space, and a pre-engineered truck canopy addition with nine (9) truck bays. Stewart & Tate also managed the construction of new rail siding and a tank farm that provides a means of delivery and storage for pellets used in the manufacturing of TPO roofing housed in the new portion of the plant.
