This project involved the construction of a new 30,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal addition to Eastern Lift Truck Company’s existing 20,400-square-foot branch located in York, PA. The new space, which more than doubled the building’s capacity, includes warehouse space, offices, break room, training room and restrooms, houses a training department and the ELT Warehouse Systems Division that stocks new and used pallet racking, wire decking and column protectors. All construction was completed while the existing facility remained fully operational, including truck access for deliveries and operations.
Eastern Lift Truck Company offers a complete array of material handling products and services to the South-Central region of Pennsylvania from its facility in York.






Developed by Stewart Properties of York, PA, this 96,911 SF tilt-up pre-cast concrete warehouse is located within Cecil County, Maryland-based Principio Business Park. The facility features 28’ clear height, 7” slab concrete floor, 26 loading docks, 2 drive-in loading bays, 143 vehicle parking spaces, 26 trailer spaces and 3,923 SF of office space.
During construction, Stewart Properties leased the building to Regent Cabinet Solutions, who provides custom cabinetry solutions for multifamily developers, contractors and renovators.












Developed by Stewart Properties of York, PA, this 550,050-square-foot tilt-up pre-cast concrete warehouse is located within Cecil County, Maryland-based Principio Business Park. The facility features 36-foot clear height, 7-inch slab concrete floor, 93 loading docks, 4 drive-in loading bays, 360 vehicle parking spaces, 122 trailer spaces, ESFR sprinkler systems and office space.
During construction, Stewart Properties leased the building to KeHE Distributors, an organic and specialty food distributor to chain grocery stores and other specialty product retailers throughout North America.














This project involved the construction of a 754,902-square-foot warehouse located on a 58-acre site in Springettsbury Township in York, PA. The facility features Class A, speculative industrial space with 36-foot height clearance and 156 available docks.
The project was developed by NorthPoint Development, a Kansas City-based real estate development, management and leasing firm.
Stewart & Tate Construction was the general contractor, and the Stewart & Tate Sitework Division completed the site development work. The project was developed as an industrial site reuse project on a Superfund site, which added an additional layer of design, safety and inspection to an already challenging project. The value of the site development package was $5.3M.














This project involved the construction of a new 18,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal warehouse addition to Anstadt Communications’ existing 40,000-square-foot headquarters located in York, PA. The new space expands the print communications and marketing services provider’s manufacturing and fulfillment capabilities.










Developed by Stewart Properties of York, PA, the 150,000-square-foot tiltup concrete warehouse is located within Cecil County, Maryland-based Principio Business Park. Along with storage space, the facility features 28 truck docks, 30 foot ceiling heights and office space. This fast track project began in December 2016 and was completed in summer 2017.


















Stewart & Tate Construction was selected to construct three concrete tilt-up warehouses/distribution buildings on Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Heritage Logistics Park, located at the exit 24 interchange of Interstate 83 in Manchester, PA. The buildings range from 110,400 SF to 202,500 SF and feature 32-foot clear height with loading dock doors, drive-in doors, dedicated office space, trailer stalls and parking spaces.
















Stewart & Tate Construction completed the construction of this new, 435,490-square-foot warehouse for Baltimore-based developer, Chesapeake Real Estate Group. This concrete tilt-up distribution facility is located at Baltimore Crossroads @95—a 1,000 acre mixed-use business community positioned in the White Marsh area of Baltimore County. The facility features 32’ ceiling heights, a 6” concrete floor, 64 loading docks, 4 drive-in loading bays, 221 vehicle parking spaces, and 59 trailer spaces.
Most challenging about this project was the work that took place throughout the duration of a harsh winter. To adhere to the project’s fast-track schedule, the entire slab of the nearly half-million square-foot building was poured in less than four weeks. In order to achieve such a feat, an on-site concrete batch plant was constructed and concrete pours amounting to over 800 cubic yards per day were carefully coordinated.










Stewart & Tate Construction completed the construction of this 100,000 SF dry goods/grain room warehouse addition and 16,000 SF freezer addition (both pre-engineered metal buildings) for a grocery distribution center. In addition, the construction of a 2,000 SF office addition consisting of conventional steel and split face block was completed. The project entailed major sitework modifications such as parking and stormwater management. The project was completed in 8 months.










Stewart & Tate Construction recently completed the construction of a 571,000-square foot warehouse available for class A bulk distribution in the Aberdeen section of Harford County. Constructed on a 48 acre site at Hopewell Farm Distribution Center, the facility features 36 foot clear ceiling heights, 175 rear loading docks, two drive-in docks, a 130-foot truck court, and an adjacent surface parking area.
The project is less than four miles from US Route 40, eight miles from Interstate 95 and approximately 30 miles from the Port of Baltimore.




















Stewart & Tate completed the design and construction of this 390,000-square-foot facility which is now the home of a parts distribution warehouse for International Truck and Engine Corporation. The facility contains 31 active docks, 3 compactor locations, a flammable storage area, shipping and receiving, main office, conference room, break room and fitness area. In addition to the building, Stewart & Tate’s Sitework Division crews performed all of the site infrastructure work.
















Stewart & Tate Construction began this project with 33 acres of sitework involving 160,000 cubic yards of cut/fill, 50,000 square yards of paving and associated site utilities. This work was in preparation for a 193,435 SF pre-engineered building for Harley-Davidson’s new Materials Velocity Center. This facility receives materials and coordinates their delivery to York manufacturing and assembly operations in just-in-time quantities, consolidates freight for all other Harley-Davidson locations and serves as the motorcycle distribution point for the world.












Stewart & Tate Construction and VERUS Partners joined forces to develop a 624,000 SF tilt-up concrete, cross-docked facility on this 50-acre parcel in East Manchester Township, York County, PA. Stewart & Tate was responsible for obtaining all land entitlements, building design, budgeting and value engineering. VERUS subsequently contracted with Stewart & Tate for both building and site development work. The building features 30’ clear height, insulated precast concrete exterior walls, 7” concrete floor slab and motion sensor activated T5 lighting.










First Industrial Realty Trust purchased the first of three lots in Greenspring Industrial Park in York, PA and subsequently contracted Stewart & Tate Construction to construct a 675,000-square-foot, tilt-up concrete warehouse/distribution facility on the 52 acre parcel. All of the park and site infrastructure work was self-performed by Stewart & Tate Construction’s Sitework Division. After completing the building on time and on budget, Stewart & Tate was then contracted to complete all fit-out work in the space for the tenant, United Natural Foods, Inc.








This 26,600 SF project consists of an 8,500 SF dry dock addition, a 15,400 SF refrigerated dock and cooler addition, conversion of existing coolers to freezers, and conversion of an existing cooler to 2,700 SF of office space. The dry dock features nine doors with mechanical levelers, filling in the existing dock and modifying structural steel required for the door layout. Heating and ventilation for the entire warehouse were also upgraded.
Stewart & Tate Construction also completed a 14,000 square foot addition to existing operations which consisted of a 12,600 square foot, 0-degree freezer and 1,400 square foot, 35-degree refrigerated dock area. The existing facility currently handles both dry and frozen products.






Stewart & Tate Construction served as the Construction Manager for ConAgra Foods, Inc.’s new 390,000 SF refrigerated cold storage facility in the Brickyard Industrial Park in York County, PA. In addition, Stewart & Tate crews performed all of the grading and infrastructure work for the project.
