After completing construction projects at Faulkner BMW, Faulkner Infiniti, Faulkner Nissan, and Porsche of Mechanicsburg, Stewart & Tate Construction was again contracted by the Client to relocate 2 existing Faulkner dealerships due to the expansion of nearby Interstate 83. This unique project began with cutting a 10’ section out of the center of an existing office building to create two stand-alone buildings, one for Honda and one for Toyota.

The Honda portion of the building will be converted into a new “Blue Stage” Honda dealership. This will include a 17,900 SF PEMB addition on the rear of the building to serve as a new service center. Approximately 2,800 SF will be added to the front of the building for a new showroom, including a new Honda “Blue Stage” featured cantilevered canopy, ACM louver, exterior finishes and concrete plaza for new vehicle display. All new interior first and second floor layout and finishes will be upgraded to Honda’s New “Blue Stage” program.

The Scope of Work for the Toyota store included a 13,500 SF PEMB addition on the rear of the building for a new service center. Approximately 4,900 SF was added to the front of the building for a new showroom and Toyota’s portal feature. All new interior first and second floor layout and finishes were upgraded to Toyota’s finish program.

After completing construction projects at Faulkner BMW, Faulkner Infiniti and Faulkner Nissan, Stewart & Tate Construction was again contracted by the Faulkner dealership to construct a 21,675 SF facility for its new franchise, Porsche Mechanicsburg.

The facility includes a showroom, parts department, two enclosed service reception lanes, nine service bays, a car wash, an enclosed vehicle delivery bay, and a customer lounge and café.

The new dealership joins the auto group’s other brands – Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Volkswagen, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Subaru, Nissan and Infiniti – along the Carlisle Pike in Silver Spring Township.

Faulkner is a family-owned automotive dealer group serving Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania, and currently encompasses 21 automobile franchises at 27 different retail locations.

Stewart & Tate Construction completed this six-month renovation project to convert an existing building to a Nissan dealership. Located within Apple Auto Park along Route 30 in West Manchester Township, the building formerly housed a Honda dealership.

Work involved replacing finishes and paint throughout, updating the exterior façade with the installation of new metal panels, upgrading the HVAC system, and overhauling the shop with repairs to all existing equipment and new lighting.

Stewart & Tate Construction completed this 8-month new construction project at Apple Honda in York County. Located within Apple Auto Park along Route 30 in West Manchester Township, the dealership was previously located elsewhere in the auto park, and construction of this new facility required the demolotion of a Dick’s Sporting Goods store previously located on the site.

Work involved demolition of an existing building down to the structural steel frame, then a completely new construction rebuild. The project included 33 new in-ground lifts, a 13-bay used car reconditioning department with a 360⁰ photo booth, 24 car interior service drop-off area, large new showroom, new ACM and EIFS exterior finishes, second floor parts mezzanine, all new interior finishes and restrooms. This project features all of the current Honda image upgrades and features, and at the time of construction, it was one of the largest Honda facilities in the US.

Stewart & Tate Construction was selected to build a new showroom for longtime Harrisburg-area auto dealer, Hoffman Ford. The new facility includes a new showroom, three enclosed service reception lanes, a parts and accessories retail display area, enclosed vehicle delivery bays, a new customer lounge and customer café. The new showroom is in the same spot as the former showroom. The service and collision bays behind the showroom were not renovated.

The project began with demolition of the current showroom, as well as the customer and office areas. The dealership remained open during construction and operated its sales and service offices out of mobile office trailers on the property.

Stewart & Tate Construction completed upgrades to the Apple BMW facility located at the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Rt. 30 in York, PA.

The 6,800 SF renovation involved the reconfiguring of office spaces, upgrades to interior finishes throughout the service center and showroom, and an all-new exterior façade with new entrance canopies updating the look of the dealership.

Stewart & Tate Construction was selected to construct the $1.1M renovation of the Faulkner BMW facility in Lancaster, PA. The phased renovation lasted five (5) months and included the addition of a new showroom, new car delivery area, customer lounge and sales consultants area. The exterior finish on the majority of the building was updgraded.

Stewart & Tate Construction was selected to build a new showroom for auto dealer, Toyota of York. The new structure replaced the car dealership’s 50-year-old building, which no longer fit the needs of the business. The new facility was constructed next to the existing building, and includes a showroom large enough to accommodate five vehicles as well as office space.

The old building was then razed, paved and turned into additional showcase space. The additional space allowed the lot to grow from 250 cars to more than 300.

Stewart & Tate Construction completed this 5-month renovation project at Apple Subaru in York County. Located within Apple Auto Park along Route 30 in West Manchester Township, the dealership formerly shared a space with Apple Acura but now has its own exclusive Subaru facility.

Work involved renovations to the showroom, service supply area and exterior façade. The project also included a 2,600-square-foot service bay addition. The redesigned facility adds six service bays and features a covered drive-through service lane. The updated showroom now accommodates six vehicles and increased space for the customer lounge with features such as new tile, furniture and energy efficient lighting.

Stewart & Tate Construction was selected to serve as general contractor for an addition and renovations to York Collision Center located in York, PA. The project was conducted in three phases so that the business could remain open during construction.

The first phase was the construction a 17,000 SF addition to the existing 5,500 SF body shop to house new paint booths and service bays. The second phase renovated the existing body shop to add additional building insulation and new trench drains, change the traffic flow, move the old electric service, add air conditioning and update the interior. The third and final phase was renovations to the office area, during which employees were moved to temporary trailer space. The existing 3,000 SF space was gutted, and structural repairs were made. Restrooms, insulation, windows and a new entrance location were then added. Office size was increased to allow for more employees to match the expanded production/service areas.

The project also included site improvements such as paving, underground electric, new data fiber, curbing, fencing, signage and landscaping.

Stewart & Tate Construction completed interior and exterior renovations to this Chevrolet dealership located on Route 30 in York, PA. The 10,000 SF of interior renovations included work on the offices, restrooms, showroom, and service drive-thru. Exterior work included all new storefront glass around the showroom, a new entry tower, and a new exterior façade. Project duration was 4 months.

Stewart & Tate Construction was selected to serve as general contractor for the project at Nello Tire Auto & Truck Service Center located in York, PA. The project involved the demolition of the existing warehouse and the construction of a new 14,900 SF pre-engineered metal building that serves as a sales and service center.

For this project, Stewart & Tate was tasked with the challenge of working around an operational automotive service center. Through careful coordination and detailed phasing, daily operations of the business were uninterruped while Nello’s new, state-of-the-art sales and service center was being constructed.

Stewart & Tate Construction was selected to build a new Ford dealership for Gibbons Ford on this design/build project in Dickson City, Pennsylvania. The approximately 47,000 SF flagship Ford dealership features a two-story showroom, offices, and a parts and service center with 30 vehicle bays and is nearly triple the size of its former location. The new facility is located on an eight-acre property along Viewmont Drive in Dickson City, PA.

Stewart & Tate Construction completed this 6-month project at Faulkner Infiniti in Mechanicsburg. The project consisted of demolition and reconstruction of 12,000 SF of the existing facility and renovation to the remaining 6,000 SF. The new dealership includes a new showroom, drive-in service reception, and seven service bays.

In order to complete the project within the Owner’s timeframe, construction had to begin during the winter months. Cold weather along with snow, sleet and hail made this project especially challenging.

Regardless, the project was delivered on time.

Stewart & Tate Construction completed comprehesive interior renovations to Apple Ford’s showroom, customer lounge, service center, and service bays. In addition, the project also involved an update to the exterior facade.

Stewart & Tate constructed Apple Collision Center of York, on of York’s largest (25,000 SF) and newest fully air-conditioned, state-of-the-art facilites that provides high quality collision repairs. Located behind Apple Ford on Route 24 in Red Lion, the collision center offers a point of contact for all auto body needs from dent and scratch repair to auto body alignment. The facility includes a large service area, two paint booths, and offices/waiting areas.

Stewart & Tate Construction completed this 8-month project at Faulkner Nissan in Mechanicsburg one week ahead of schedule. The project consisted of construction of a new two-story 28,300 SF facility featuring a new showroom, sales, service and accounting areas, two (2) enclosed service reception lanes, five (5) service bays, and a customer lounge and café, all meeting Nissan Motor Company’s latest store architecture and design standards.

Stewart & Tate Construction completed renovations to Red Lion Chevrolet’s storefront, showroom, and offices. In addition to these renovations, S&T completed the addition and renovations to the service center garage.

Stewart & Tate Construction built this new, state-of-the-art, 8,300 SF automatic car wash facility inclusive of detail bays and self-service vacuum stations.

This new 9,040 SF Cadillac dealership features a glass front showroom, cast stone exterior, parts department, four service bays and a vehicle prep area with six bays.
