Madelyn LaMotte: 2018 Winner of the Richard D. Poole Scholarship

September 1, 2018 — Congratulations to Madelyn LaMotte, the 2018 winner of the Richard D. Poole Scholarship. This $1,000 scholarship is given by Stewart & Tate in honor of Rick Poole, the founder of Poole Construction, which is now Stewart & Tate Construction’s Building Group. This year marks the tenth consecutive year this scholarship has been offered, and we are proud to continue supporting this scholarship as a means to aid our employee families while honoring the legacy of Rick Poole.

Maddie is attending West Chester University, where she is studying sports medicine and enjoys helping others. Her dad, Mike, works for Stewart & Tate Construction’s Building Group.

The recipient of the annual scholarship is chosen through an essay contest by a panel of three judges. All high school seniors immediately related to a Stewart & Tate Construction, Lewis Contractors, or Riley Welding & Fabricating full-time employee who plan to further their education are eligible to enter.
