Groundbreaking at Future Site of Normandie Ridge Memory Care Residence
March 13, 2015 — A groundbreaking ceremony was held to celebrate the beginning of the new Memory Care Residence project at Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community, 1700 Normandie Ridge Drive in West Manchester Township, York County.
The $2.7M Memory Care Residence project will involve the construction of a new 11,000-square-foot addition that will feature 16 rooms, 14 which will be private residence rooms designed specifically for the needs of the cognitively impaired.
Work is set to begin in March and is slated for completion by the end of September.
Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community is owned and operated by Albright Care Services, a faith-based non-profit corporation that serves all of central Pennsylvania. Albright also owns and operates RiverWoods Senior Living Community in Lewisburg, Living Independently For Elders (LIFE) sites in Williamsport, Lebanon and Lancaster, and manages Warrior Run Manor, a HUD-approved housing complex in Watsontown. Currently, Stewart & Tate is finishing up a 10,000-square-foot interior renovation project for Normandie Ridge that began last summer. The firm has been involved in various capital projects over the years with Albright Care Services, having completed numerous apartments, renovations and facilities on both the York and Lewisburg campuses.
