Construction Progress Advances at York College’s Northside Commons Dormitory

June 20, 2025 – The construction site at York College’s Northside Commons is bustling with activity as key milestones continue to be met. Crews have completed underground plumbing and elevator shaft openings, marking significant progress in the early phases of the project.

Currently, masonry teams are laying foundation block at the new stair tower and steadily working toward tying in with the existing building. The project remains on schedule as the site continues to transform into a vibrant new residential space for York College students.
