Check out the progress at the Bioenergy Devco MD-FCA project in Jessup, MD!

March 12, 2021 – In the lower left corner of the first image, crews are placing concrete via pump truck on the bioreactor structure for wastewater treatment, as well as tying reinforcing and setting forms for future pours, with help from the cranes pictured. This structure as shown is approximately 19 feet tall, but will be 33 feet overall once done!

The feeder pit for receiving feedstock and sending out to the tanks can be seen (center) with temporary bracing installed to allow backfill to commence around it.

In the right side of photo, a crew is grouting the vertical wall panel joints in both of the precast tanks simultaneously. Once completed, each tank will hold approximately 1.8M gallons of feedstock for fermentation.
