Celebrating Gary Rineer and His Retirement

August 28, 2026 – After 46 years in the construction industry, Gary Rineer is retiring and beginning a new chapter filled with more time for the things he enjoys most.
Gary began his construction career in 1980, working his way from a Laborer and Equipment Operator to a Field Supervisor. Over the years, he continued to grow his career, taking on roles in estimating, project management and operations, including serving in senior leadership positions. Along the way, he earned an Associate Degree in Building Construction Technology from HACC.
Gary joined Stewart & Tate in 2016 and spent the past 10 years as a Senior Estimator/Senior Project Manager with our Sitework Group. His extensive field experience, estimating knowledge and project management expertise have made him a valuable member of our team and a tremendous resource to those around him.
Outside of work, Gary enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog. One of his favorite places to spend his free time is his cabin in Clinton County, where he hunts and rides snowmobiles and side-by-sides. He’s looking forward to having more time to enjoy those activities in retirement.
To celebrate Gary and thank him for his 10 years with Stewart & Tate, a luncheon was held in his honor. We appreciate all he has contributed to our company and wish him a happy and well-deserved retirement!
