Bethlehem United Methodist Church Breaks Ground on Expansion

March 7, 2016 — Construction of the new three-story, multi-purpose expansion at Bethlehem United Methodist Church of Dallastown, PA is set to begin.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held Sunday, March 6 at the planned site to mark the start of construction. Stewart & Tate Construction has been selected to serve as the Design-Build Contractor for the new space which will be located along Main Street in Dallastown at the site of the church’s former parsonage.

The 14,000 SF expansion project will include a new 400+ seat contemporary worship sanctuary with a permanent stage, multi-purpose gymnasium, and social hall with a commercial-grade kitchen for church gatherings. Most uniquely, the addition will include a café business that will be open to the public with direct street access.

The project is set to begin this month and is slated for completion in the fall.
