Teaming up with our general contractor affiliate, Richard D. Poole, LLC, we obtained all permits and approvals for this 625,000 SF warehouse project in less than six months. The site incorporates significant stormwater quality management features which were value engineered to satisfy not only the York County Conservations District but our customer's budget as well. Soil cement stabilization of the building pad allowed construction to progress through the winter despite difficult soil conditions. Our Industrial Division was called upon by a local manufacturer to set up four new assembly lines with 2-30 ton and 2-5 ton cranes - all with 50 foot spans - at the York Business Center. It was a design build project with a one month time frame for completion. Our affiliate, CORE-Design Group, provided structural design services and our scope of work consisted of concrete column footings, structural steel fabrication and erection and the supply and installation of the overhead cranes. The equipment that you see in the photograph was transported, rigged and leveled by Stewart & Tate and the entire project was completed seven weeks after it began.
