After perceiving a need in northeastern Maryland for a quality driven site contractor, Stewart & Tate, Inc. founded the Maryland Division in 2002. This division has quickly grown to be the largest site contractor in the area. Offering preconstruction services and engineering expertise sets the Division apart from other area firms. All personnel in this division are local Maryland natives with years of experience in site construction. The working environment and personal relationships they experience is that which only a family business can provide.
Our talented personnel are equipped with a modern fleet of heavy equipment capable of tackling any size project. In its short history, this Division has completed projects where we’ve moved millions of cubic yards of earth, paved projects of all sizes, installed miles of storm and sanitary sewers, water lines as well as all associated utility services. We recently constructed a complete water supply treatment and distribution system serving a 1,000 acre industrial park and 600 unit housing development.
This office is conveniently located at the intersection of Maryland Route 222 and Route 95. This Division services northeastern Maryland, the Baltimore area and Northern Delaware. Services offered include earth moving, underground utilities and bituminous paving. And we have in house horizontal boring capability for the installation of 6” to 24” diameter casing pipes.
